Torch Run — Runner's Privacy Notice
Last updated: June 2025
The torch passes from hand to hand, carrying only its light — never your personal information. Torch Run's runner's notice makes that plain: no data about you is ever picked up, carried, or passed along.
What the torch carries
The torch carries only light. No runner's name, no relay history, no device tag travels with the flame through our systems. You run anonymously and the torch passes without recording who held it.
Relay log (server logs)
Like a race official's minimal timing record noting only split times, our servers may automatically log: browser type, device category, and a masked IP fragment. These splits confirm the relay is running. They time the race, not the runner.
No tracking officials
Torch Run stations no advertising officials, no behavioural analytics timekeepers, and no third-party observer booths along the route. The track is clear.
The kit supplier (Google Fonts)
Our typefaces are supplied by Google Fonts. Your browser's connection to Google may include your IP. Their notice governs what they do with that exchange.
Young relay runners
Torch Run is an energetic but entirely safe game for all ages. No violent content, no gambling, no age restrictions. Every young runner is welcome in the relay. We collect nothing from any player.
Notice revisions
If our practices change, this notice will be updated and redated. Continued running after any change signals acceptance.
